MOES WSS-S-GL Wi-Fi Gas Detector
The MOES WSS-S-GL detects natural gas and coal gas leaks, ensuring an immediate response to the hazard with a 75 dB audible alarm and notifications in the mobile app. The device connects directly to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and operates without the need for a control panel, which significantly simplifies installation. Integration with the Tuya platform and support for Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant allow for convenient management and enhanced safety in a smart home.
Effective gas detection and rapid response
The sensor uses a semiconductor gas sensor, which is characterized by high sensitivity and operational stability. This enables it to quickly detect the presence of gas and trigger a visual and audible alarm, alerting you to a potential hazard. The device is effective both in emergency situations and as a preventive measure, helping to avoid dangerous incidents related to gas leaks.
Remote notifications and full control via the app
Upon detecting gas, the sensor immediately sends a notification to your smartphone, allowing for a quick response even when you’re away from home. The Tuya / Smart Life app lets you remotely monitor the device’s status and perform a function test without needing to physically interact with it. Built-in voice prompts additionally inform you of the alarm status, enhancing safety.
Flexible installation and adaptation to conditions
The sensor can be mounted either near the ceiling or closer to the floor—depending on the type of gas. For gases lighter than air, installation 0.3–1 m below the ceiling is recommended, while for heavier gases—0.3–1 m above the floor. The device should be placed near the gas stove, and its maximum detection range is up to 3 meters in diameter, allowing for effective monitoring of the selected area.
