The MOES WSS-S-SSD-A is a smart smoke detector that detects fire hazards at an early stage and immediately alerts you via a loud 85 dB alarm and notifications in the mobile app. The device uses detection technology based on the analysis of infrared light scattered by smoke particles, allowing it to respond quickly to emerging threats. Thanks to Wi-Fi connectivity and integration with the Tuya platform, remote safety monitoring is possible without the need for an additional control panel.

Precise detection and rapid alerts

The sensor analyzes smoke concentration based on changes in the intensity of infrared radiation, which is refracted by smoke particles. Once a specific threshold is exceeded, the device automatically triggers an audible and visual alarm, alerting you to a potential fire hazard. This solution allows you to detect danger at a very early stage, before the situation becomes critical.

Remote notifications and full control via the app

Thanks to its Wi-Fi connection, the sensor sends instant notifications to your smartphone, alerting you to smoke detection or a change in the device’s status. In the app, you can check the current status (“no alarm” or “smoke detected”), run a test, turn the alarm on or off, and manage the device’s functions. Support for Smart Link and AP modes simplifies setup and integration with a smart home system.

Safety features and daily monitoring

The device offers the ability to perform a manual test and silence the alarm with a button, which simplifies daily operation. Built-in LEDs indicate the alarm status, device operation, and network connection. The sensor also monitors the battery level and reminds you when it needs to be replaced, ensuring continuous operation and a high level of safety.

Battery power and energy-efficient operation

The WSS-S-SSD-A model is powered by two AAA batteries (GP-GN24A), which are included in the package. The energy-efficient design ensures long standby time and reliable operation without the need for frequent battery replacement. This allows the sensor to operate independently of the electrical system, offering installation flexibility in various locations.
