MOES ZSS-QY-HP ZigBee mmWave Presence Sensor
The MOES ZSS-QY-HP presence sensor uses mmWave Radar Detection technology and ZigBee communication to accurately detect human presence—whether the person is moving or stationary. The device offers an adjustable detection range of up to 9 m (adjustable from 0 to 9 m), sensitivity ranging from 0 to 9, and an instantaneous response time of just 0 to 0.5 seconds. The compact ceiling-mounted sensor, measuring ∅93 × 37 mm, operates in a wide temperature range from -20°C to 70°C, ensuring reliable performance in various conditions.
Precise detection of presence and micro-movements
Thanks to mmWave radar technology, the sensor detects not only movement but also subtle micro-movements, such as breathing. This allows for accurate presence monitoring even while sleeping or working at a desk. This feature significantly increases the effectiveness of home automation.
Adjustable range and sensitivity tailored to the interior
The sensor allows you to configure the minimum and maximum detection distances in the Smart Life app, which helps reduce false detections and tailor its operation to a specific room. Additionally, sensitivity adjustment on a scale of 0–9 allows for precise tuning of the device’s response—lower sensitivity works well at greater distances, while higher sensitivity enables detection of subtle movements up close.
Response Time and Delay Configuration
The user can set the presence detection confirmation time from 0 to 0.5 seconds, ensuring an immediate system response. A presence decay delay adjustment is also available, ranging from 20 seconds to 25 minutes, which helps prevent accidental device shutdowns. Additionally, the detection delay setting (0–10 s) helps reduce false alarms and improves operational stability.
Remote control and automation via the app
Integration with the Smart Life app allows for full control of the sensor from anywhere. You can monitor presence in real time, change settings, and create automation scenarios, such as automatically turning on the lights when presence is detected. The sensor works with the ZigBee system (gateway required—not included), allowing you to build an extensive smart home ecosystem.
Light intensity monitoring and smart scenes
The device offers a light intensity measurement function in the range of 0–2000 lux, enabling the creation of smart scenes based on lighting conditions. This ensures that the light turns on only when it is truly needed, enhancing comfort and helping to save energy.
Compact design and ceiling mounting
The sensor is designed for ceiling mounting, ensuring optimal coverage of the room with the detection signal. Its small dimensions (∅93 mm and 37 mm height) ensure the device remains discreet and blends well with the interior. Stable operation at 100–250 V AC and low current consumption ≤70 mA guarantee reliability in everyday use.
